General conference was Amazing as it always is. It even went pretty smooth with Clay not getting hardly any attention from us for 8 hours this weekend. He played with his Lego's or even watched a little of conference with us, or just sat near us and played while we listened/watched.
It was great! Some of my favorite highlights from Conference:
Jeffry R Holland: - Does this guy have powerful testimonies or what???
"If thou canst believe all things are possible to him that believeth."
"Lord I Believe. Help thou my unbelief."
This father asserts with what faith he has and pleas with the savior.
Observation #1. When facing the challenge of Faith. the father asserts his strength First.
Hold fast to what you already know and stand strong till addition knowledge comes.
The size of your faith or degree of your knowledge is not the issue, it's the integrity you demonstrate toward the faith you do have and the truth you already know.
Observation #2. Do not start your quest for faith by saying how much you do not have. Leading as it were with your Unbelief. I am not asking yo to pretend to faith you do not have. I am asking you to Be true to the faith you Do have.
Be as candid with your questions as much as you need to be but do not let those questions stand in the way of faith working its Miracle.
You Have more Faith than you think you do.
In this church, what we know will always trump what we do not not.
In this world we must all walk by faith.
Be patient, be kind, and forgiving.
Last Observation: When doubt or difficulty come, do not be afraid to ask for help.
Such earnest desire pursued with honest heart with no deception to God. He will send help from both sides of the veil to strengthen our belief.
Hope on Journey on, honestly acknowledge your questions and concerns, but first and forever fan the flame of your faith. For all things are possible to them that believe.
